“MARIA
LA GORDA:” . . In the Corrientes bay,
the most western of the provinces, Pinar del Rio, we meet a beach
with crystalline and calm waters, home to 35 diving centres, where
it is possible to meet meres, barracudas and lobsters, while passing
near reefs and caves, rich with black and other coral varieties,
and also sponges of all sizes, some even totalling 2 meters.

VILLA
GUAJIMICO: Located on the southern cost between
the cities of Cienfuegos and Trinidad, here it is possible to
practice scuba diving and admire a beautiful natural landscape.
The more than 20 diving centres offer the possibility to come
into contact with rocky, coralline or sand sea beds, over 20 coral
species, and also sponges, barracudas, rabirrubias, guasas, cuberetas,

VARADERO: The best known Cuban
beach boasts a wide hotel chain and facilities for tourism. Its
beach of very fine sand, more than 20 km long and touched by warm
waters, makes this place one of the most visited by tourists from
all over the world. Scuba diving in this paradise is carried out
from the “Barracuda” centre, in places more than 40
meters in depth.

CIENFUEGOS: The city of Cienfuegos
is surrounded by one of the biggest bays of the Caribbean Sea.
The area of Playa Rancho Luna is ideal for scuba diving and water
sports; the “Faro Luna” scuba diving centre, together
with its hotel, is a compulsory stop for enthusiasts of the underwater
world. The diving area is characterized by the water’s stillness
and visibility, apart from the existence of notable coral masses
interrupted by wide and deep canals 40 metres high.

TRINIDAD: UNESCO has declared
the city part of the World Heritage for its glorious remains.
It has beaches and diving areas no more than 20 minutes away from
the city centre. Its diving areas are very calm with enviable
visibility. Canals and coral masses enrich the underwater architectural
beauty of the environment, reaching depths of nearly 40 meters.

CAYO COCO - CAYO GUILLERMO - JARDINES DEL REY:
These three localities, situated in the Ciego
de Ávila province, make up an extended area of unmatched
natural beauty. Cayo Coco, with over 20 km of magnificent beaches,
is permanent host to over 159 species; Cayo Guillermo, washed
by transparent and hot waters, has coral reefs no more than one
kilometre from the shore; Jardines del Rey, made up of over 200
atolls with great sand banks, has a coral reef with depths going
from 10 to 30 meters.

PLAYA SANTA LUCÍA: Located in
the Camagüey province, its 20 km of beaches protected by
a significant coral reefs are its most beautiful attribute. It
is also assignee of an “All Inclusive Plus”, an offer
based mainly on water sports and scuba diving. With a diving area
including over 30 sites, it has the privilege to host sunken ships
with fantastic stories, the ruins of a Spanish fortress, fishes
of all dimensions, grottoes and sharks hand–fed by the trainers
of this tourist location.

GUARDALAVACA: The diving centre
“Eagle Ray” offers the opportunity to dive in the
Bahams Canal waters and visit various underwater spots with depths
going from 5 to 40 meters on a relief with coral reefs, hills,
vertical stacks and rock columns shooting from the abyss. PSB:
Casa Coral (10m), La Corona (40m), Canto Bonito (35m), Pesquero
(40m), La Cadena (40m).

SANTIAGO DE CUBA: Cuba’s
second city and the most Caribbean of all. Three of the best diving

CAYO LARGO DEL SUR:
Cayo, another name by which it is known by, is part of the Los
Canarreos Archipelago, near the Isla de la Juventud. This
is where the renowned PHOTOSUB takes place, the International
Underwater Photography Contest that takes place every year in
this splendid location.

JARDINES DE LA REINA (GARDENS OF THE QUEEN): Baptized this way by Christopher Columbus, this remote Cuban paradise it is one of the most important marine sanctuaries in the whole Caribbean. The biggest attractiveness in these waters, is without a doubt, the fauna of great size that inhabits its reefs. It is the Kingdom of the big predators. In few places it is possible to enjoy the diversity and the size that reach here, being able to be varieties of sharks: Shark Bull, Caribbean, Silkis, Dameros and others. Declared from 1997 Natural Park by the Cuban authorities, enjoys a total protection, being forbidden the commercial fishing and any other exploitation of their resources. In this Beautiful Archipelago of the Queen's Gardens activities are offered of: life on board, dive, especialist fishes.
